Developing, producing and delivering films with a legacy

First and foremost, we’re filmmakers — that’s what we do. We make movies for distribution, just like any other film production company. We utilise our people and skills to develop, produce and deliver film projects not for profit.

Creating opportunities for neurodiverse, or socioeconomically disadvantaged filmmakers

We help filmmakers develop their projects and find their unique voice. We provide professional filmmaking equipment to new voices who may not be heard otherwise, and we also allocate project funding.

Nurturing a sustainable, inclusive local creative film economy

Film Sussex is building a welcoming community of filmmakers who help each other out. We make filmmaking more accessible by offering free sessions for anyone interested in getting involved. We also support filmmakers in achieving their creative goals.

You are a filmmaker. Now let's get down to business.”
